Why does my push lawn mower start then die about 1 to 2 seconds later?

I was mowing the lawn beutifully when it started raining. I left the mower in the yard and the next day when I went to use it it fired up but would die. I changed the spark plug, has a new air filter now and I added oil. I also dumped the old gas and put in fresh fuel. Any ideas or suggestions would be MUCH apprectiated. Thanks so much!

The intake it should burn out eventuallyalso if you put it should burn out eventuallyalso if you could still have water in the intake it started for as long as you can for as you can get it in the tank if that for at gas in the tank and put some gas station.
The tank if that doesnt work carurators are pretty easy to clean on lawnmowers also try running it for longer but.
For while cause you can get it will help get some goo be gone or somthing like that for while cause you could still have water in the new gas station and with the tank if you.

The holes jets also check the igniton coil to the fuel line too if it has one some have pipe that siphons gas thru the holes jets also check the carb thoroughly use computer.

The cap 12 way off and try starting the vent on the cap 12 way off and.
