Why does my lawn mower keep shutting off?
By admin | September 30, 2008
My lawn mower is about two years old. But when I mow it works fine for a while then shuts off. I’ve cleaned the filter, it has plenty of gas, and the oil is good. A friend said to spray a little WD-40 on it and it worked fine for a minute and then the same thing again. Can’t figure out exactly the problem is. Any answers or suggestions?

The carburetor needs to be cleaned or maybe the spark plug or adjusted.

My guess is you have gotten tiny piece of dirt into the carb jet and until you take the carb apart and then blow it wont run rightit sounds like what happened to mine last yeargood luck.
