How to run a rider lawn mower?
By admin | September 27, 2009
Hey I was wondering on the basics on running a rider lawn mower.
I’m 17 (yes I know, sad) but I’ve only done the trim around the house with a push mower my whole life.
My parents are kinda busy and I would like some basic things on it.
It’s a standard steering wheel rider.

Running a lawn mower is dangerous but so is driving a car. Some things to keep in mind are before you even get on the mower make sure you have hearing protection and have shoes that are tied, because if they are untied you can get sucked into the PTO and seriously hurt. Once you are on it you just start a line/ pattern and go up and down the yard in that line to get the stripes. Its not that hard to learn and once you are good at it you can do a lot of things with them.
Zero turns are harder to learn because you have to turn carefully or you tear up the grass plus it can be difficult steering with levers instead of a stearing wheel, once you learn how you use them you can do about anything with them.
