How do I keep my lawn mower level when mowing the grass between the sidewalk and the curb?
By admin | October 4, 2008
I have bermudagrass in my front yard, and I like to let it grow rather high. The problem I have is when mowing the strip of grass between the sidewalk and th ecurb, I always end up with an uneven cut because the lawn mower is cutting at an angle. In other words, the lawn mower is not wide enough to completely straddle the grass with both wheels on the sidewalk, so it causes an uneven cut.
Any tricks to make it look more even and clean??

Try reasoning with your mower. That would be the liberal solution.

I have the same problem. I typcially make one pass with the wheels up on the curb and antoher with them just inside the curb to minimize the effect.

For your wheel boltthis is as push mowers do not have floating mower deck.
