Remove the oil filler cap and tip the mower over to empty the bad oil in a sealable container. Then put fresh SAE 30 oil in it. Unless it is a Honda mower, then it takes SAE 10W-30.

4 cycle oil. remove drain plug at base of engine and open fill cap to allow oil to drain quicker. replace drain plug and fill oil to level on dip stick. dip stick is part of the fill cap.
